MISSION STATEMENT

The Quantitative Finance Club (QFC) at MIT is a student-run organization with the goal of ensuring that MIT is a focal point among the quantitative finance community.

With a rich heritage that includes the introduction of the Black-Scholes model and continuous time finance, MIT has been the center for the creation and development of modern theories in mathematical finance. Following in these footsteps, the QFC seeks to help in the professional development of those students interested in quantitative finance careers, to foster the sharing of information concerning quantitatively driven financial topics amongst the entire MIT community, and to build relationships between MIT and quantitative finance practitioners.
